Yup, it was gremlins :-)

Actually, Jerry tells me he was freeing up some disk space, and a 
typo wiped out most of mailman. I reinstalled the mailman rpm,  
recreated the discuss and announce lists, and posted the notice on 
the blu.org root page. Jerry will be recreating the other 30+ lists 
over the next few days.
