I do not understand the question.  I am an engineer that writes
programs so I don't understand some of the computer science
terminology.  It is able to do any type of file input or output such
as Open(), Create(), Write(), streaming etc.  I think that it uses
Window's API so it may be able to read/write mixed format files.  Hope
this helps.
