Our client in Northern MA has an opening for a Lead Linux/VxWorks consultant for a 6+ mth project. Details are as follows: Function as a Lead Developer for embedded real-time software development with emphasis in carrier grade platform experience * Life Cycle development of embedded systems * Technical leadership experience directing team of software engineers to deliver features in both new and existing platforms. Work Experience Required 10+ years of experience in development of real time telecommunications systems * Expert skills in C and C++ programming for the VxWorks OS. * Expert skills in C and C++ programming for the Linux OS with experience in embedded Linux. This includes experience with Linux development tools (Perl, gdb, etc.). * Experience in SNMP, CLI, embedded database development in both the VxWorks and Linux environments. * Successful development experience of carrier grade telecommunications. * Experience in the design and implementation of security protocols in an embedded platform (i.e., IPSEC, SSH, TLS) a plus.
