I'm not sure I understand your argument. I am basing my argument on the fact that most people buying Windows Retail are doing so because they feel comfortable that they can get the support that they may need. There is always someone to call or email. The argument that you are making above would apply to Corporate users, but the argument that I was making was for individual home users.
