I did find the actual best person to help, a mom and long-time ourdoings.comuser. Someone just offered a third laptop, and if that works out I will be able to keep Linux visible during the show instead of dual booting. I got an interesting comment from a writer who was looking over my brochure. I had a parenthetical comment about how Linux, Mac OS X and Windows XP all provide easy ways to make zip archives. She said some people might not have heard of Linux and would not understand it was an operating system if it was first in the list. I had just put them alphabetically. Do BLU people encounter people who haven't heard of Linux? It seems to me that I've told a lot of people that I usually keep my laptop booted into Linux, and I don't remember anyone asking what Linux is. Am I just insulated from the real world?
