Thanks Tom! And yeah, most of these things (with the exception of Komoto) don't offer all that much but a glorified text editor. Nano seems to work out quite well for me. I do like jedit and nedit thought, and will contine to use them. I've not gonne buy Komoto so I'm not gonna bother using the trial and getting used to it. Hard masked is gentoo saying "broken, don't install". I've seen nothing similar to Dev-C++ (Bloodshed) for windows, in that functionality.
