---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Samuel Baldwin <shardz4217 at gmail.com> Date: Mar 31, 2007 3:06 PM Subject: Re: xterm in osx? To: Robert La Ferla <robertlaferla at comcast.net> I was over at a friends house on his macbook and during a game of 3D chess felt the need to SSH. His terminal was missing (but the mac terminal sucks hard). I wasn't about to install X and a WM on his book, but I did manage to find a decent terminal named "iTerm". It supports transparency and tabs. It was pretty simple (like all of mac's products). On a semi-related note, how can one set root password on a mac and how can one start SSHD? I've tried and had many problems. (For some reason it reminded me of ubuntu, but only this time I couldn't "sudo passwd".)
