This has been tried before: it always fails for lack of a stable flow 
control algorithm. The last time I used it, I had to flush buffers after 
every startup, even though it pulled the chain-loader performance down, 
or risk intermittent overflows.

P.S. Don't even _think_ of piping the output to /dev/null!
