Hello: The installation was pretty much exactly like they two install documents said, a very good sign. One doc was for drupal, the other for mysql. I decided to download a few modules and themes. I didn't know how to use them. Oops. I thought, if this is a darn logical program, then where drupal lives on my box, there should be a directory each for module and theme, and if I unpack them there, I should be able to use them. Bingo! Now it looks like there are a huge number of choices, starting from what version to install. I work to minimize relearning, so I think I'll go with 5.1. I want to start simple and solid. Those themes and modules that have a 5.1 branch are being maintained. Is there a rating system around for these themes and modules? Hard to make a rational choice. So far it seams like the system will be simple to alter the look and alter the functionality, which is very impressive. I am going to work on getting one page "right". doug -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
