I have a VLC server streaming audio from a scanner over a network which I can easily listen to with the VLC player. I've successfully recorded the audio to an mp3 file on Windows and on Linux. The problem is I want to record 24/7 and have the file rotate every day but can't seem to write a shell script that will properly rotate the file. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks, Matt -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
