Bill> HTH. All suggestions welcome. I just this morning solved that problem on my ubuntu system. I believe the magic word on ubuntu was: apt-get install php5-mysql and then you have to restart apache2, which I didn't do at first. The instructions I was using also said to edit /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini to uncomment the " extension=msql.so" line. I may have already done that in some previous struggle. Hope this helps. -- Laura (mailto:lconrad-O0WJhd4tT3hg9hUCZPvPmw at public.gmane.org , http://www.laymusic.org/ ) (617) 661-8097 fax: (501) 641-5011 233 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02139 -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
