I'm not sure why i'm consuming so much of memory. I recently used cscope (cscope -R) on the kernel source, I wasn't sure where it stored the database information. Is it because of those database files not being recycled? Also is there any temp or share folder that i might have to delete to clear up some space. And i tried uninstalling openoffice and when i did aptitude remove openoffice.org-common, it said it'll remove ubuntu-desktop along with a bunch of openoffice applications, I wasn't sure if that might create problems? Is this the right way to uninstall openoffice? > Are there any tools to defragment the disk or perform cleanup? > > You won't need to defragment in Linux. KewL! I'm guessing its the memory because i just installed iSCSI, I haven't configured it or mounted any remote disk, speaking of which, is there any good source to configure iSCSI other than the README, i tried looking up online, but couldn't find anything really useful.
