Hello all, I try to setup kickstart on RH ES 5, but it failed. The ks.cfg was stored in usb flash memory and also try NFS on another systems. Both won't work; I boot from the usb flash memory and RHES 5 was on the CDROM drive. 1. How I can use command to ask kickstart to look for usb flash memory? I don't have floppy on the system. I don't know what I should call on usb flash memory? BIOS detected the usb flash memory. I put boot.img and ks.cfg on the usb flash memory. I tried the following without any success: linux ks=hd:fd0:/ks/cfg linux ks=floppy dd linux ks=cdrom:/ks.cfg 2. About ks.cfg file How to add LVM on the ks.cfg? Do I need setup raid before to add LVM? I found the doc the setup like this: part raid 11 --szie 1 --grow --ondrive=sda part raid 12 --szie 1 --grow --ondrive=sda raid pv.01 --fstype ext3 --device md4 --level=RAID1 raid.11 raid.12 volgroup sysvg pv.01 logvol / --vgname=sysvg --size=8000 --name=/ logvo2 /home --vgname=sysvg --szie=10000 --name=/home logvo3 /tmp --vgname=sysvg --szie=8000 --name=/tmp Thanks.
