March 30, 2006 at 11:30 (It was in my calendar). It was one of routine talks we had in the HP Linux community. It had nothing to do with providing Linux on consumer desktops. But, the issue here was for HP Linux people to understand Ubuntu. Dell recently announced it would provide Ubuntu preloaded on their consumer systems.
