You can use the '-a' option to search all packages, but this will merely give you a list of packages that have no dependencies, basically. So, for instance, in the case of mozilla changing to mozilla-browser, deborphan will not help you. Someone has mentioned that doing something like this used to be possible with aptitude/synaptic (local or obsolete package identification), but I can no longer see this functionality in newer versions unless there is a bug or I am doing something wrong.
