I have an HP DesignJet 130nr plotter, and I'm trying to find a way to remotely monitor its status, especially to monitor the ink cartridges so I can replace them before users start complaining that they're empty. The web interface doesn't seem to support this, and when I enable SNMP and do an snmpwalk, all I get is network-related information, nothing about ink levels or the status of the paper roll. A google search and a search of www.hp.com didin't turn up anything about SNMP for this plotter. Has anyone else found a way to monitor these devices? I'd like to find something I can plug into Nagios, if possible. -- John Abreau / Executive Director, Boston Linux & Unix IM: [hidden email] / abreauj@AIM / abreauj@Yahoo / zusa_it_mgr@Skype Email [hidden email] / WWW http://www.abreau.net / PGP-Key-ID 0xD5C7B5D9 PGP-Key-Fingerprint 72 FB 39 4F 3C 3B D6 5B E0 C8 5A 6E F1 2C BE 99 -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
