I don't know about PHP, but with statements like this in C, the operand must resolve to an Integer (a char would be sufficient as such). So, you can't use strings like "yes". You could possibly do case 'y' or case 'n'. Also, it is probably best to use single quotes when you know that the contained parameter will not need to be processed using the escape sequencing code that occurs with double quotes.
