Hello Everyone, Have you guys seen the latest on Comcast's latest efforts to do "traffic shaping"? Honestly, I add this to my reasons to not use them anymore and take all business I work with off of them. I mean none of us Unix/Linux/Bsd guys use bit torrent for accessing/sharing ISO's for our favorite distros. Oh and don't forget you can't download more that 90gb a month. =P Not all uses of BitTorrent are illegal and its a perfectly legitimate technology. And god forbid there would be other new and legal technologies for content delivery based on torrent technology that "threaten" the stability of their pipes. Give me a break. http://www.broadcastingcable.com/article/CA6492771.html?display=Breaking+News http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21376597/ Thanks, J -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
