My ext3 filesystems have had a lot of corruption lately. I'm wondering if I need a new drive; I'll probably replace my drive if I have any more trouble. Now I have files in lost+found that I can't remove, even as root. I get the following when trying to remove them: rm: cannot remove directory `#1245348': Operation not permitted rm: cannot remove directory `#1246858': Operation not permitted rm: cannot remove directory `#1246948': Operation not permitted ls -l gives me this: dr-x-wxrwx 2 20556 25390 8192 Oct 20 2021 #1245348 d-----s-w- 2 29487 12079 4096 Jan 22 2026 #1246858 d-----s-w- 2 25647 12140 8192 May 29 2032 #1246948 I ran fsck -f again on the partition, and it did not find any errors. Does anyone know how I might be able to get rid of these files? Trying to use chmod or chown on them also gives me "operation not permitted."
