Oh, and Mark, this is a Intel Core 2 Duo processor (I think E6750?). With the jump I just made in processors (from AMD XP2400+ single core), getting things working with fewer hassles is worth more to me than a slight performance gain. I cut a Kubuntu CD about an hour ago, and I'll install that on my server after it's too dark to work on my Halloween installation. Thanks so much for everyone's advice. As a non-SysAdmin, it's worth a lot to me to be able to bounce ideas off you all. -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
