I set up a PXE server at home a few years ago. I've tried it for network installs on a dozen machines, and I think two or three of the installs worked great; the others all failed while trying to tftp the pxelinux binary. No changes to the servers in between, so there was something hinky with the boxes I was trying to install. Maybe they just had a bad tftp client in their BIOSes.
