folks, i've been using mythdora for several months now with a great deal of success. this weekend i changed out the capture card for a hauppauge pvr-150. the card works well, i can find most of the analog channels on my rcn cable. i can play earlier records without problem. however, with the new capture card, live tv plays faster than normal (everybody sounds like they're alvin or one of the chipmunks, really funny listening to john madden do football that way), then halts for a second and picks up again at exactly the correct point, with the chipmunk voices. the same goes for the video, it plays slightly faster, halts for a second and then continues. the only change has been the capture card. the old card played correctly (sound and video), old recordings made with the old card play correctly. how can i adjust the capture speed? all of the googling i get points to video problems. however, i don't think that is the case. it worked with the old card (hauppauge win-tv theater), live and playback. btw, can't wait to hear jarrod talk about mythtv again! -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
