Just be careful when you take it apart; a switched powersupply has large capacitors in it that will hold a (very unpleasant) charge for quite a while after being unplugged from the mains. You'll want to make sure those are discharged before you touch it - leave it unplugged for a good while (couple hours? can't remember if that's enough) before you start working on it.
