I know GIMP can open an image file over HTTP, but it seems like most of the gnome applications I use don't. Meanwhile, I typically use a lot of KDE applications (e.g. kview) which just understand how to speak http to open a file. This is not a troll or flamebait, just wondering since I don't use gnome by default if I'm missing something. I'm running Debian Etch with evince 0.4.0 Thanks -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
