Do yourself a favor and just put it on the network.  Otherwise you need 
a USB driver for the system.  If YAST is not finding it then you'll 
have to do a walk through the USB module drivers. 

Including but not limited to 

usbcore usb-uhci, uhci or usb-ohci 


Then you need to set them up in /etc/sysconfig/kernel
