Date: Fri, 21 Dec 2007 14:06:35 -0500 From: "Chris Giroir" <[hidden email]> > 1. Is it limited to mesh networking, or will it connect to an > 802.11A,B, or G node? It can hook up to all three afaik. One of the cool features of the mesh network is that if ONE laptop can get internet (via a wifi point) then any connected to it via the Mesh Network can get a connection as well. Should work wonders for the kids out in Africa and the like. Two more questions (and I'm looking forward to receiving mine): 1) Can it contact a private (no-beacon) network, if you give it the ESSID and hex password? 2) Any other (wired) network options? -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
