I am using a DELL INSPIRON E1505 that I used Symantec GHOST to make a dual boot. I only use XP for DVD playback I just bought an ultra lighteight SONY VAIO TZ150 I see that Emperor Linux sells these as a preinstalled system for an excessive markup and I think that I might be able put KUBUNTU gusty on it. I have one problem though is finding a USB drive that requires no drivers and is recognised by Symantec GHOST so that might back off VISTA so that I will be able to restore it in the unlikely event that I might need a dual boot. Has anyone booted VISTA from a grub menu off an external drive What USB external drive should I use and where I can get one locally? Any knowlegable local computer stores? I am sick of pot luck from Microcenter -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
