 I have FIOS and I do not get 5 Mbs DOWN and 2 Mbs UP.  I used Google to see 
what Verzion offers and stumbled across a link that supports my suspicions 
about Verizons DNS Servers

Apparently, many are having the same problem.  Verizon has fast DNS servers 
but points their customers to slow DSL servers.
