LCC was a compiler written in the 90's to go with a textbook.  All info 
is at the site. 


If you're really interested in programming languages I would strongly 
urge you to start at the beginning:

MACHINE (Part I)" by John McCarthy 

Follow that with a leisurely stroll through John Allen's "The Anatomy of 
Lisp" if you can find a copy. 


Last I looked a lot of undergrad compiler courses were using
