Re: Definition of dump levels?



 Level N dumps everything with a last-modified date after the date 
of Level N-1 as found in /etc/dumpdates, where N >= 1. 

Level 0 always dumps everything; it doesn't have to look at 
/etc/dumpates, since by definition there are no dump levels 
below 0.
