So the company that earns its living from web based applications (or
more accurately, advertising on web based applications) is sponsoring
the release party of a desktop?

What, does Android use KDE, or is this just part of their general
support of the open source community?

I see they have an office in Cambridge:

Google Cambridge
One Broadway, 7th Floor
Cambridge, MA 02142

Anyone know what they work on there?
