I don't suppose you could sue them for blocking ports if you can in fact prove you are not a spammer... something about how you are paying for a service, signed a legal agreement and they are most likly infringing upon some usability clause... I can't wait to start seeing the class action suits, there already is one against comcast for dropping bit torrent packets. It's starting to hit federal regulators that perhaps something "should" be done about it... but the wheels turn ever so slowly. I believe I am using RCN... it's actually quite good, anyone have any fun bits on them? ~Ben On Jan 18, 2008 3:19 PM, <[hidden email]> wrote: > Dan Ritter wrote in part to the BLU Discuss List <[hidden email]> on > Fri, 18 Jan 2008 2:29 pm > Re: "Anti-recommendation: Comcast". > > > > At about 3:17 AM on Thursday the 17th, > > Comcast imposed a filter on port 25 (SMTP) inbound to my cable modem. > > > > Around mid-morning, I realized that the only mail messages I was > getting > > were generated at my house.
