You probably use vi. Forbid you run loadkeys dvorak :D In response to the original question, I switched to dvorak about 4-5 months ago and haven't looked back since. I definitely type faster now than I did (no I haven't clocked my speed, but I most certainly type faster.) I just popped off the keys on my keyboard with a knife and replaced them.. probably a bad idea, but it was free. I'm wondering if I can get my IBM T61 with dvorak keys.
