I just want to rm -f / MS Vista right now! Something seemed to be growing like crazy. It was ridiculous, like cancer. pagefile.sys was stable at 3.5 GB. *** I googled "vista disk disappearing" (finally) and I found this page http://forums.techguy.org/windows-vista/592112-disappearing-hard-drive-space.html ..."Command Prompt" and select "Run as Administrator."... vssadmin list shadowstorage It's 45+ GB .... vssadmin resize shadowstorage /For=C: /On=C: /MaxSize=10GB Seems to be just fine now. *** For anybody that must use Vista and if you don't already know, you need to be aware of this. This started out a question. Now, hopefully just a possibly helpful to somebody comment.. -- Alfred Wheeler -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
