I was on the support pages for Toshiba laptops yesterday, and I noticed they had a link specifically for Linux support: Toshiba supports the Linux community with the TOSHIBA Digital Media Engineering Corporation's Linux support portal. This portal offers links to both Toshiba and 3rd-party sources for end-user and developer support for the Linux operating system on Toshiba portable PCs. And that links to: http://linux.toshiba-dme.co.jp/linux/index.htm complete with gratuitous use of penguins. :-) Nice to see them making an effort, even if the information seems a bit sparse. A few tables showing what does and doesn't work on some Toshiba models for a few different distributions, some drivers, and a mailing list. -Tom -- Tom Metro Venture Logic, Newton, MA, USA "Enterprise solutions through open source."
