Re: Linux ready for the home desktop?



 Just in case anyone is interested I emailed a few folks who live on BSD.  They informed me that BSD only asks for a file system check after a bad shutdown.  They had a few remarks about requiring an fsck every 30 boots...  For myself it's not a big deal as I don't reboot too often...
