Linksys WAPPOE12 Power-over-Ethernet adapter

I ran across this widget from Linksys that provides power-over-ethernet
to appears to be intended to power something like a WRT54G router.
I'm tempted to buy one to give it a try.

Has anyone tried this already? How well does it work?
