Most sizable online computer parts retailers carry the 2.5" drive to 
3.5" drive IDE adapters. I think you can get these locally at Micro 
Center. This will allow you to attach the drive to a desktop internally. 

For a few dollars more you can get an external enclosure for a 2.5" 
drive with a USB interface. These are pretty easy to find for around 
$20, and sometimes under $10. 

If this is something you do often, this multi-interface drive dock might 
be a good option:

These let you use 2.5" and 3.5" SATA drives as a sort of data cartridge. 
That one is for SATA drives, but there's a version for IDE drives too.

I recently used one of these to clone a laptop to an identical 2.5" 
drive using Clonezilla. That way if the internal drive fails, its a 
simple matter to swap to the backup.
