fedora/ubunto on a MacPro

 Hey, i've tried to follow a few walk-throughs on how to get linux on a mac, 
and I've tried and given up each time. Basically the problem boils down to I 
am a gamer on my comp and linux windows only for gaming. I have OS 10.4.X (I 
haven't bothered to upgrade yet but if I need to I understand) and I want to 
put on either fedora 8 or ubuntu. Any guides or can anyone help me in my 
quest? Has anyone done this successfully? Thanks ~Ben
