linux stress test

 Guys, 

Is there a package "out there" which will stress the gagibbles out of my 
red hat system? Right now I'm having issues where the kernel is core 
dumping on me and I don't know if its due to the hardware being faulty, 
the software having bugs or what. A good OS stress would help sort out 
this problem for me.
