fairly non-intuitive, but i finally fumbled my way into it. 
thank you, all is well. 

nonetheless, i hate these silly guis -- would much rather 
enter the info into a suitable file somewhere -- as long as, 
of course, they don't change the name of the file and hide 
it somewhere i can't find it.
