I don't know if I speak for anyone else, but I despise the BSA. Their views on homosexuality and religion seem too exclusive to me. The fact they went to court to institutionalize discrimination makes them unacceptable. I have friends and family that are gay and it seems against the principles of freedom and inclusiveness of the open source / free software movement to support them unless they are equally open. Sorry for the contrarian position, but it is an important matter to me. > Message: 1 > Date: Tue, 10 Jun 2008 13:27:32 -0400 (EDT) > From: "John Abreau" <[hidden email]> > Subject: Boy Scout Open Source > To: [hidden email] > Cc: [hidden email] > Message-ID: > <[hidden email]> > Content-Type: text/plain;charset=iso-8859-1 > > Hi, Bill. > > I saw a story this morning about the Boy Scouts starting an opwn source > initiative, with its web site at > > http://opensource.scouting.org/ > > Do you know anything about this?
