I remember a story from when I was in college, where apparently some 
parents in the midwest were protesting the teaching of foreign 
languages in their local high school. Some idiot was apparently 
waving a bible and shouting 

    "If English was good enough for the prophets and apostles, 
     then it's good enough for me!"
