What's the java equivalent to the following two statments char String[]="10.0"; double Number; sscanf(String,"%lf",&Number); char OtherString[100];sprintf(OtherString,"Number is %lf",Number); I'd like to be able to use the ease of sscanf and ssprintf to convert and format number into and from strings... cheers.
