I found three devices that had the capability I was looking for, Linksys {wrt350n, wrt600n} and an Apple airport. I ended up purchasing the Linksys WRT350n for $109 on newegg - that's a really good price for that router, and I current have and like my Linksys wrt300n. What I wanted/needed was a router with a USB port so I could plug my external USB HD directly into it and my wife and I could back our files up with little effort. We only have laptops and I don't have the space for lots of equipment, so I want to accomplish what I need with the smallest set of hardware possible. So, with that said, yes I did want a NAS device - I just wanted the router to handle it...
