I'm going to venture a guess that they don't really know how to install it. On a related note, I went into Circuit City this weekend and told them I was looking for a laptop for my little brother that could run "this" on, and handed him an official Ubuntu Hardy Heron (8.04) disc in colorful cardboard sleeve. The FIREDOG dude said, "oh yeah, let me take a look" and then flipped the case over to the back in search of the computer system requirements, although there was no mention of Windows at all :-) He them proceeded to hem and haw, but was "quite sure" the models he showed me could run the software! That's when I politely volunteered that this was an Operating System, and not an application. So perhaps Geek Squad is more up to speed than Firedog...hehe -- Kristian Erik Hermansen -- CISSP, CEPT, CREA, CEH, Linux+, A+, QGCS, ACSA, this is getting ridiculous... http://kristian-hermansen.com -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
