I have multi-terabyte NFS based file server (Fedora 6) with different OS clients on a gigabit lan. I have been experiencing occasional NFS disconnects from my Mac OS X (10.5) systems. Why would it ever disconnect? Many apps like iTunes and iPhoto can't cope with a disconnect. What should I look at to diagnose this? I did see some dmesg errors: lockd: cannot monitor mymacosxbox -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
