Comcast performance?

 Anyone having any issues lately with Comcast performance?  I'm seeing   
intermittent issues where performance degrades significantly.  e.g.   
Just accessing http://www.google.com from a browser.  I did a   
traceroute when one such event happened with news.bbc.co.uk and this   
is what I got:
