 I was following this thread with some interest.  I want to build a 
cheap, low-power server for my personal use also.  I was wondering how 
it was working out with the Shuttle...  Though to be honest, I never 
did like the cube-style PC case.  I was hoping to find something 
with a form factor similar to the Dell Optiplex 755 for around the 
same price as the shuttle... :)  I have thusfar only spent a small 
amount of time looking, due to a general lack of free time, but didn't 
find anything.  If folks have had good luck with the Shuttle, I may 
consider that more seriously.
