Daughter #4 lost her credit card to scammers. Evidently, somewhere in the chain there is someone making a commission on magazine sales. MasterCard said that it was not possible to stop automatic renewal of magazine subscriptions made with a valid card, even if the card was reported stolen at a later date as the assumption is that the sale in question was made at the beginning time and the recurring renewals are deferred billing, not new charges. I'm helping her challenge that, but part of this claim is evidently legally correct. You are saying "Who cares?" and you're right. So, given that one of the magazines she is getting out of nowhere is Dime, which is evidently a magazine for young black wannabe NBA players and the culture thereof, I offer this scanned image from the current issue. Feel free to copy it -- I won't leave it up forever. Originally they were facing pages but are now in two parts as that is the size of the scanner and I don't have any software to stitch them together. They're 14MB PNGs converted from TIFs. http://geer.tinho.net/blu.1.png http://geer.tinho.net/blu.2.png A Boston Linux theme... --dan
